Today, the second full day of spring in Washington, is a normal rainy day in Seattle. The transitioning from winter to spring was as always, unseen.
There are a few stories this morning I read about. Some of you may know that we know who posted that anti-Clinton, pro-Obama attack ad on You Tube. Instead of me telling you, you can read about it here.
This link is the original "Vote Different" anti-Clinton ad.
Yesterday, Al Gore testified at the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. In the middle of a heated exchange*1 between Gore and Republican Senator James Inhofe, Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer interceded*2 and schooled*3 Senator Inhofe. With a nonchalant attitude, Sen. Boxer said to Sen. Inhofe, "You don't do this anymore. Elections have consequences." Here's a video of that.
*1:"heated exchange" was a commonly used term in the news media.
*2: so was "interceded," as in Sen. Barbara Boxer interceding between Gore and Sen. Inhofe.
*3: "schooled" is a term some people I know might use.
Anyways.
